anyone notice that this poem is centered around "swinging" birches even though what he really wants to do is "climb" one (up to heaven) where he can be in utter isolation and unleash his imagination...that's the way i see it.
i really hate these analyzations but once in a while i pick up something i can work off of. i hope this might help anyone else who is also doing a stupid analytical paper on this poem.
