One of my father's two or three favorite poems of all time, and a classic for sure.
In the 1950's a bawdy satirical recorded version ("Dangerous Dan" I believe) was circulated on 78 rpm records and was quite jarring but hilarious for the times...... ...I believe Service might've gotten a kick out of it. Or sued for copyright violation!!
