Perhaps the best of O'Hara's work, anthologized by Hayden Carruth. "A Step" captures the rhythm & rapidity of the city, with its vividness & free-associative thoughts.
It should be Giulietta Masina, not Maina. And the first lines of all but the first stanza should be indented to the point where the previous stanza ends (if possible).
