I thought the poem was very sweet and sincere because the writer worked hard to impress his sweetheart by expressing his emotions toward her.

A display of love, the mispelled word, the humor of it, the sweat involved in the act, the easy misreading when one first takes it for granted that what is meant is written there and then to see it isn't--the acceptance/celebration of human strivings--OK OK, so it left me thinking!
