I'm not sure if someone else posted this question, but I'm a little confused about the poem. I'm not sure if it means people are used to all of the wars, gun and blood shed and they go about their business in a usual way.....

the poem is basically saying that the world has been at war, and will always be at war. I learned that in my english class
