The poem by Dorothy Parker, The Lady's Reward, is so realistic to what a lady has to do in order to be noticed and not to be stepped on by a man. A lady has to never let anything get close to her heart and must never actually say what she is feeling. I think it is marvelous that Mrs. Parker could relate the reality with poetry. She is a real piece of work and has so much humor.
