hello, just read this poem for the first time. THink its fantastic. But am interested whether this poem is an optimistic view on life; or is it pessimistic?

"The Eve of St. Agnes" does not necessarily present a pessimistic or optimistic view of life. Keats wrote this poem to practice a chivalric romance and experiement with a specific rhyme scheme. Basically, Keats wrote this poem to have fun.

Don't u have anything better to do with your time than read long, make-no-sense poems. Take a Romantic Revoult Lit class and discuss the shit all day long if u want to.
