Although this sonnet discusses Shakespeare, it is interesting to note that it does not assume the form of a Shakespearian sonnet. Although it does contain a rhymed couplet at the end, the form is mostly that of an Italian (or Petrarchan) sonnet: abba abba cdecde (or some variation of cdecde). "Albion" - archaic name for England.
