Rabindranath Tagore (Nobel prize winner in Literature ), the poet laureate of India has a song that goes, "Jodi tor daak shunay keu na ashay..ekla cholo ray."). Loosely translated it means, " If no one answers your call...walk alone." It goes on to say how this person whose call no one has heeded should even be ready to walk on the thorns for his conviction, lighting his ribs (meaning sacrificing all) for illumination on the way....
